I have updated.  Whoosh, this semester has been a whirl.  Kind of nice to have this sort of excitement before I buckly down with summer anatomy and then medical school.

Library now. bye.

That's my halloween pic, for those of you who didn't make it to my super fun halloween party or catch me on state st.

Exciting things are happening...just not to me.  We have our new apartment all set and it is so sweet!  I'm going to have a huge walk-in closet and a larger living room, dining room, extra bathroom, cheaper rent, larger kitchen...just overall new, and two cool people to live with (Tad and Amelia...I will miss Christina, though...come visit).  This time I really want to paint the walls, maybe a neutral color in the living room and a light peach/pink color in my room to go with the dark furniture and black-framed pictures.  Ahh, it's so nice.  We (Amelia and I) won't have to move anymore because it's right by the med school.

Amelia and I are at memorial, typical Saturday.  blah, back to work.

It's 2am and I'm listening to classical music and musing about life in general.  A wonderful memory or occurance came to me.  I don't remember the piece or the name of the composer but on my flight to Taiwan I was listening to the classical radio channel and the introduction to the piece went something like this:

------(composer's name) at the age of 18 fell deeply in love with his music teacher's 14 year old daughter and wrote this piece as a portrait of her.  The music teacher was Antonin Dvorak and -----(the composer) married the daughter six years later.

It was not an amazing piece, but I listened carefully and I could hear the skipping and lightheartedness of a young girl immortalized in music.  I pictured a young man embueing his love in his work and I sympathized with the piece.

It's November.  Love surely exists?  Have a little faith.  I know I will.

I'm too tired to do a summary of Halloween.  It was much better and more exciting than my last.

I got a haircut and I look nice.

My roommates are mean to me.  Not going to lie.  I think I'm going to go hide from them at the library.
